Artists in the Conwy Valley
(1770 – 1940) Lists over 2000 works by over 700 artists who have worked in the Conwy Valley, from Betws-y-coed to Conwy. It includes biographical details and a brief history, together with over 900 black & white illustrations. It also contains a special Trefriw & Crafnant index.

Trefriw in the 19th Century
Gives a fascinating insight into the village in the past. This 200 page book lists the complete census returns from 1841 – 1901, and contains 40 illustrations.
The 2nd edition also features a 1911 appendix, with a property list.

The History of Trefriw
Is a translation of Morris Jones’ “Hanes Trefriw”, written in 1879. A wealth of footnotes and over 50 illustrations have been added to the original script. 120 pages.

Chronicles the numerous schemes between 1845 and 1912 to put Trefriw on the railway map, as published in The London Gazette’s statutory notices.

A Postcard from Trefriw
features some 250 postcards published during Trefriw’s Heyday Years, a period which coincided with the Golden Age of Postcards (ie. from 1900 up to the 1920s). Over 100 of the cards are in colour, and strongly represented are the main attractions of the time, namely the steamers at the Quay, the Spa, the main street, the Fairy Falls, and Llyn Crafnant.

This volume features over 450 postcards from the Golden Age of Postcards, the vast majority in colour. Starting from Betws-y-coed, the postcard views work down the valley to Conwy and Deganwy.
